Innovation Summit’s $100K Pitch Finalists Announced

On June 19-21, 2017, the first Inside/Outside Innovation Summit will be held at Pinnacle Bank Arena in Lincoln, NE.  Hosted by Econic and the Inside/Outside Innovation podcast team, this three-day national conference brings the best high-growth startups and corporate entrepreneurs together to collide and innovate in the Midwest.

The Summit is the first of its kind in the region to bring together global leaders in the world of startup-driven innovation, corporate innovators, leading-edge startups and community supporters.

From these Startups, six have been chosen to compete in an investment pitch competition for a $100k investment and incentives sponsored by Nelnet. SkyVu - SkyVu AR's gamification platform gives retailers a huge advantage over Amazon with Pokémon Go-like games that gets more customers into their stores and keeps them coming back. 

VideoFizz - Our technology is the collaborative curation of digital media.  Used in our mobile app VideoFizz, it’s the easiest way to create montage video greetings for any occasion.  

Painless1099 - Painless1099 helps independent contractors (think: freelance designers and real estate agents) save for tax season. Through a smart bank account, Painless1099 automatically withholds taxes based on user information and then deposits what is safe to spend directly to a user’s personal checking account. This allows contractors to focus on the work they know, while automating savings and avoiding an unexpected bill from the IRS during tax season.
