What began as a friendship has worked its way into a business opportunity.
Seward resident Darrin Gunn is part of a team that puts on large fireworks shows in Nebraska throughout the summer. Gunn began helping his friend, Evan Peters, with fireworks shows more than 25 years ago. What was once a hobby is now Peters Pyrotechnic Productions, a business based out of Gretna. Gunn is Peters’ assistant throughout the summer shows.
“We’ve known each other for 25 years,” Gunn said.
