Southeast Nebraska CASA recently welcomed a new executive director.
Marci Fehlhafer of Utica began serving as the executive director on Sept. 15. Fehlhafer previously worked in insurance for 19 years. Most recently, she was agency manager at First Insurance in Utica.
“I think it goes back to, I was raised by two teachers who obviously had an impact on all of their students. And I was also raised to be a lifelong learner and the challenge of learning something new and making a difference really intrigued me because it is a great organization that really helps kids in our community,” she said.
