Fiber-to-Home in Lincoln
10 Apr 2017
Neltnet had recently purchased ALLO Communications, an Imperial-based Internet provider, and had announced that the company will bring 1-gigabit Internet service to Lincoln. The whole city of about 100,000-plus residences and businesses should have access by sometime in 2019. The City of Lincoln is giving ALLO access to its fiber conduit, a network of several hundred miles of fiber-optic cable.
This partnership will increase Lincoln’s ability to compete on a global basis. The next generation of businesses is based on speed of available telecommunications.
