Celebrating 150 years of Seward County history

About 150 people attended the Sesquicentennial Kick-off event to celebrate the 150th birthdays of Seward, Seward County and Nebraska at Bottle Rocket Brewery March 5 in Seward.
The celebration included a cake tribute, dinner, entertainment by the Nebraska Youth Honor Choir, Seward High students Andrew Pavel and Chase Prochnow, a presentation on a new sesquicentennial brew, recognition of past and present city and county elected officials, and a preview of the S150 website (www.seward150.org).
