Two new housing construction projects will require the demolition of the old Beatrice Community Hospital and a new RV and boat facility will be built next to the site of Beatrice Ford.
Excel Development Group plans to build 10 ranch-style homes where the southern third of the old hospital and its parking lot currently stand and Porter Estates—a subsidiary of Excel—plans to build eight duplex units that will be managed senior homes in the northern two-thirds of the old hospital.
