Nebraska Passport 2016: Bottle Rocket Brewing Co. toasts Seward's history

It took little time after its October 2015 grand opening for the Bottle Rocket Brewing Co., near Seward’s town square, to catch on in the college town known for its Fourth of July salute and German heritage.
Founders Gerald Homp, Jason Berry and brewmaster Ryan Koch researched microbreweries in other cities and searched for a location for seven months. They settled on a former grain and seed packaging plant that operated from 1947 to 1987.
