FORTIGEN GENEVA LLC NITROGEN PLANT CONTINUES WITH CONSTRUCTION

Shortly after the official groundbreaking was held in March for the Fortigen Geneva LLC anhydrous ammonia plant dirt work began and this summer the construction began. It will take approximately150 construction workers to build the plant that is expected to be completed in the Spring of 2017.
The plant is being built on 20 acres on the eastern edge of Geneva across from the current Industrial site. The $75 million plant will produce anhydrous ammonia fertilizer for local farmers. Once the plant is up and operational 25-30 full-time employees will be needed.
