Agriculture banquet set for March 20

Recognizing Excellence in Agriculture, the 49th Annual Kiwanis and Seward County Chamber and Development Partnership Agricultural Banquet, will be held Monday, March 20, at the Seward County Ag Pavilion on the Seward County Fairgrounds.
The banquet is held during this time to honor National Ag Week, which runs from March 15-22.
The event kicks off with a social hour of wine and cheese beginning at 5:30 p.m. and is followed by a prime rib dinner beginning at 6:30 p.m. The awards presentation will begin at 7 p.m. Jon Vanderford with Channel 10/11’s “Pure Nebraska” will be the evening’s emcee.
The Larry and Doug Tonniges families will receive the 2017 Kiwanis Outstanding Farm Family Award.
