Cornerstone CEO to lead Nebraska Bankers Association.

Cornerstone Bank Chief Executive Kristie Holoch was elected chairwoman of the Nebraska Bankers Association at the state trade group’s annual meeting in La Vista, Nebraska. The NBA annual meeting was May 4-6. She succeeds Jerry Catlett of Bruning State Bank.

Holoch has been with Cornerstone — which ranks No. 10 in terms of in-state deposits among all banks in Nebraska — since 2000. At the end of 2016 the bank reported assets of about $1.5 billion.

Dave Dannehl, president and chief executive of First State Bank of Loomis, will be the organization’s chairman-elect for the subsequent year and will assume chairmanship in May 2018. Dannehl has held his current titles with First State Bank of Loomis, which is located about 40 miles southwest of Kearney, since 1996. The bank had assets of about $137 million as of year-end 2016.
