York Community Foundation awards grants

YORK - The York Community Foundation grants committee has announced the new recipients for 2017.
The Community Foundation has awarded $68,242.77 to eight area non-profits in two rounds of grant considerations. These awards will prove invaluable in serving various community development and enrichment projects for adults and youth within York and York County.
Grants are awarded through named funds established by the generosity of local donors who wish to support community causes and projects. These funds support a broad variety of charitable needs in this area. Since its inception, the Community Foundation has distributed more than $3.5 million in York and the surrounding communities in York County.
