Lincoln News, Awards and Recognition

Pipeline is an entrepreneurial fellowship program for business innovators in the Midwest. Each year, Pipeline invites their fellows, award winners and startup community champions to gather together to celebrate the year’s accomplishments. This year, over 600 people gathered in Kansas City to celebrate the 11th annual Pipeline Innovators Awards. This award ceremony highlights the accomplishments of Pipeline Entrepreneurs, the region’s most successful organization of high-growth entrepreneurs.

Paul Jarrett, co-founder and CEO of Bulu Box, won the Pipeline Entrepreneur Member Growth Award. Jarrett’s company, Bulu Box, offers a subscription service for nutritional sample boxes. It was founded in 2011 and experienced rapid growth last year. In 2013, Jarrett was both a Fellow in the Pipeline class and named as Innovator of the Year.

Pipeline also announced its 2018 fellowship class. Lincoln-based members of the class are Dennis Doerfl of Fourstarzz Media and Ali Schwanke of Simple Strat.

The Entrepreneurial Leadership Award was given to Nebraska Pipeline sponsors Nelnet, University of Nebraska, Linseed Capital and Prairie Ventures.

For the second year, the Partnership acted as media host for the awards ceremony along with Silicon Prairie News. Congratulations to all winners who work hard to contribute to the growth of the Silicon Prairie. We look forward to seeing even more successes from our local startup companies and are honored to be a supporter of the Pipeline event.
