Farm Service Agency director hired
16 Mar 2017
“I’m excited to get closer to home,” said Pat Lechner, who officially began his duties as co-director of the Farm Service Agency in Johnson and Pawnee Counties. His duties include making sure the office runs smoothly and to ensure that Johnson and Pawnee County farm producers are aware of all the farm programs and services FSA offers.
Lechner doesn’t have any set schedule for when he will be in the Johnson or Pawnee FSA offices. However, he plans to spend the same amount of hours in each office.
As a native of Unadilla and being from a rural community, Lechner said he wanted to give something back to the local community by working with local farmers and ranchers.
