Hottovy receives public relations award

Lindsay Hottovy, a 2013 graduate of Freeman High School, has been awarded the Loras College 2017 Outstanding Senior in Public Relations award. The award was presented at the Loras College Legacy Symposium on May 3, 2017.

The Legacy Symposium is a daylong event with students and faculty members representing every major at the college showcasing their academic accomplishments through inspiring musical performances, presentations, juried art exhibits, and a film festival.

Lindsay, the daughter of Susan and Tom Hottovy of Adams, is a public relations major who will graduate from Loras College on May 20. Loras is a Catholic liberal arts college located in Dubuque, Iowa.

Lindsay has been actively involved in the Loras College Dance Marathon, which raises money for the Children’s Miracle Network. She was the public relations chair for Dance Marathon this past year. She has also served as section leader in the Loras College Wind Ensemble.
