Loreman named general manager at Choice Floor Specialists, Inc.

There won’t be a learning curve for the new general manager at Choice Floor Specialists, Inc. located at 2822 N. Nebraska Avenue, York. That’s because Eric Loreman has worked at the floor covering store for the past 14 years since it opened. Owner Kevin Ruden made the announcement that as of June 1 Loreman will oversee the day to day operation of the store.

“I’m excited about the opportunity,” said Loreman. “I just want to keep the workmanship and customer service at the highest level. A lot of our customers are repeat customers and they depend on us.”

Loreman said the store will continue to carry a full array of flooring choices from tile, hardwoods and carpets from a number of manufacturers. One thing that has become popular is vinyl luxury tile and planks which are 100% waterproof and are used in kitchens and bathrooms.

He also mentioned onyx showers which are becoming popular with customers. It involves a four-step system featuring a separate base and panels which form the shower stall.
